| Wow its been a long time. Apparently I feel that I have more important things to do than write on here and have no one read it. :) Not all that much has been going on...school, oooh hockey! and work...lots of work. I got a raise though, my first ever! It is supposed to snow here tomorrow and tomorrow night so whooo! Maybe I'll have some snow to play in:) Oh yeah, if anyone wants to come hang out with me on Christmas Eve/day please please please do it! Otherwise I'll just be alone and moping:( Devin graduates on the 17th, so...everyone pray that he finds a job:) Yup that about covers it I think. Cheers!

| So...I just woke up from taking a nap, and I now feel very melancholy. I wish it was winter. I want it to be cold and dark already, and some snow thrown in there would be nice, too. This sucks.

| So...its been a while. But its not like anyone except Devin reads this anyway, and he already knows everything thats going on, but...thanks for reading and commenting baybay, you're the best!
Somewhere in there was a vacation to Gatlinburg, Tennesee. It was awesome...beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, what more can I say?
We went up to Pella the weekend after school started for Alexis's wedding. That started out...interesting...we drove through a "puddle" about 1.5 feet deep, and it was pouring rain for about 3/4 of the trip, but we finally got there. Got my dress altered and pressed, got our nails done, did the rehearsal thing, then went to dinner. Well that in itself was quite the experience, because I heard some of her friends talking about all of these horrible things about her. But whatever, its not really my place to say anything about it, so oh well. I can only hope that they were kidding. Everything about the wedding was gorgeous-the dress, the flowers, most importantly-Alexis. The whole ordeal was very bittersweet...they are so amazing together, but I hate losing her. Anyway, I made it through that weekend with no major breakdowns-a very good thing:)
Last Saturday was my cousin Sarah's wedding reception. The party started at 6, but Devin and I left around 12:30-ish to meet my parents and J in Nixa and go swimming and just hang out a little before hand. Well, we got about halfway between Warrensburg and Clinton when that plan changed a little. As I was going around a curve, I saw another car coming at us in the middle of the road. So I swerved to the right to try to miss it. Well, that road is so narrow, as soon as you swerve at all, you're on gravel. And I was in the Civic, which was so tiny and light, as soon as I hit gravel going 40-45 mph, I lost control. I swerved a couple times, trying to regain control, but we ended up in the ditch on the other side of the road. That ditch is quite the ditch...so it was kind of like hitting a dirt wall. The air bags went off...kind of a punch in the face. The first thing I saw when I looked up was the windshield in front of Devin was cracked...so of course, I was thinking he hit it. But luckily, we were both ok. A motorcylist stopped shortly after and after hearing what happened, said he was going to try to catch the guy who was in the middle-of course, he didn't stop-and call his license plates in to the police. So he did that, but the guy doesn't really have to admit to anything, since there were no witnesses, so that really sucks. There was this awesome lady who took me into her house and let me call my parents, and tried to calm me down a little, and Devin stayed with the car and waited for the police to arrive. When the policeman got there, he was great about everything, just wanted me to relax, and get the information down. It was about this time when I realized how badly my chest was hurting, especially breathing deeply-which I was doing a lot of. So the policeman called for an ambulance. That was quite the experience...Devin and I both decided to go in and get checked out, so they had to strap us in and everything for the ride. We ended up spending about five hours in the Emergency Room in Clinton, getting x rays and getting all checked out and everything. As it turns out, nothing major is wrong, just some bruises and lots of sore places. So I got some Vicodin to take for the pain...it works pretty well, I just don't like taking it very often because it makes me so drowsy. We decided not to go to the reception, so Jim-who is awesome-brought us back to the Burg. Whew that was an experience.
Not only did it suck that I totaled the Civic, and could have killed us, but I have 3 or so big projects due this week, and I didn't get any time to work on them all weekend. Yay.
Tonight, once again, it is raining, and there is water leaking into our room. Not only is this just a stupid obnoxious problem, but it soaked our mattresses. Plus, we have to sleep on the floor tonight, which hmmmm probably wont be good on my already incredibly sore body.
So...there is my wonderful update. Sorry, but yes, its all very unfortunately true.
Cheers!

| Hey all~
So, I had a fairly exciting weekend. Friday night, after I got off of work, I picked Devin up from work, then we went and got his sister from the Amtrak station. Then we made a quick stop back at the apartment to pick up some things, and we were off to Eldorado Springs to see my grandpa. We got about half-way there, and my car-well, more accurately, my mom's car-started sounding really loud. Not only that, but every time we would go over even the tiniest bump in the road, which hey, this is Missouri, there are a lot, there would be a banging noise, and a jolt. We stopped at some random place in the middle of nowhere, and Devin got out to see if he could see anything wrong. Well, he couldn't, so we just sat there for a couple minutes with the car off, thinking maybe the engine would calm down, and it would be fine. A few minutes later, we took off again, but as we drove out of the parking lot, there was a LOUD booming kind of noise, and Keely said, "Uhh...I think part of your car fell off." So yeah, the muffler came off. Well, of course, being me, I started freaking out. I was crying and shaking and worrying, so Devin drove us back to Warrensburg. Well, at some point on the way back, it hit me that I was going to have to inform my parents of this little adventure, since it is their car. That, of course, got me even more upset. So, we tried to come up with a good way to tell them. Well, Keely called their mom, to ask her advice. After Devin got done talking to her...he told me that they would be willing to pay for it, so I wouldn't have to tell my parents at all! Wow, yeah, his mom and Vince are awesome! :) Buuuut I thought I should tell my parents anyway, because knowing them, they would find out anyway. Surprisingly, they were really cool about it, not mad at all. It was strange. So yeah, basically I'm car-less until Tuesday, when it gets fixed. I'm supposed to be getting a check in the mail from my parents today to cover those expenses...but our mailbox key appears to be MIA. :( Oh trans! Oooooh oooooooh I'm getting a car! My very own car:) Well, it used to be J's, so most of you know its kind of a piece of crap, but oh well, its cheap, and it will be miiiiiine:) Well, I'm off to attempt to be semi-productive today. Oh wait, no, I'm just going to take a shower, and sit around until its time to go to work. Thats productive enough for me. :)

| Hey all~
So, I've been doing a lot of reading lately...I finally finished Last Call...that was a decent book...then last night I picked up My Sister's Keeper, and read till 2 or so...and finished it this afternoon-now THAT is an awesome read:) It looks like things are shaping up for the start of the school year, I'm enrolled in classes at CMSU again, just trying to find a way to pay for it now:) Jesse seems to be close to making a decision on his car hunt, so hopefully I will have my very own car pretty soon! Whoooohoooo my first car! :) Devin and I went to Independence on Wednesday, took my shoes back, walked through the mall, saw Wedding Crashers-it was pretty amusing, and finally came up with what we think to be an acceptable present for Alexis and Curt. Sooo yeah, I'm happy that decision is made, and I don't have to worry about it anymore. We ate Chinese today, yay! :) Now I'm pretty much just sitting around, contemplating what I can read now, enjoying my new heating pad, and looking forward to pancakes for dinner! It kinda sucks that no one really reads this, or comments, anyway, but thank you Devin, for actually making it feel worth my time! :) Oh yeah, and pray for my London in hopes that maybe the idiots doing this crap will leave them alone now. :(
